Walkthrough for "Legacy of Sword and Wind: Echoes of Dust" Part 11

Difficulty: Extreme +8

Preparing to go to Thunder Gate. If you don't plan to save Mo Li, you can choose to go to Bamboo Sea first and let Sister Shang treat Leng Wuqing. In this save, I intend to rescue Mo Li, so I'm not treating Leng Wuqing now.

Entering Youyunze

Trigger a cutscene upon entering. If Leng Wuqing is in the team, select [Help Out] during the interaction. After the battle, you'll receive the Serpentine Sword Manual. Proceed forward to pick up the Evil Ghost Token. Approaching Thunder Gate disciples triggers a scene transition to Thunder Gate. After the cutscene, you are free to explore the area.

Thunder Gate Treasure Chests:

  1. Mixed Element Pearl, Meteorite Ore

  2. Meteorite Ore, Cold Iron Ore x3, Wujin Ore x3, Three-Turn Washing Marrow Pill, Withered Wood Blade Technique Manual

  • Warehouse (only one entry allowed)

  • Tang Tong: Fire Dragon Dart Blueprint (Refined), Thunder Gate Explosive Bullet Manual

Thunder Gate Gathering Points:

  • Coal, Lead Ore, Wujin Ore

Key Actions at Thunder Gate:

  1. Talk to Tang Tong and select [Request Human Face Spider].
  2. Head left to the side rooms to trigger a cutscene introducing Ouyang Hai.
  3. Approach Sanhe to trigger another cutscene and accept the quest [Internal Change in Thunder Gate].
  4. Enter the warehouse, talk to the three individuals inside, and investigate the middle and right boxes repeatedly to obtain Damaged Iron Sand Bullet, Firearms Warehouse Access List.

Using the list, close the window to trigger Yuwen Yi's monologue. Talk to Zhu You, then leave and choose [Contact Leng Wuqing]. (If the Soul Bird mission was done first, you can also choose [Contact Li Yuanxing], which also allows perfect completion of Thunder Gate.) Head to the southwest corner outside Thunder Gate to trigger a cutscene.

Battles and Rewards:

  • Battle 1: Reward: Frost Wind Blade Technique Manual
  • Talk to Tang Tong afterward to obtain Human Face Spider, Thunder Gate Heart Technique Manual, and learn the incomplete Tam Shen Mystery View.

Further Interactions:

  • Give the Iron Sand Bullet to Ouyang Hai for inspection.
  • Head to the Five Immortals Cult side room entrance to trigger a cutscene, then return and provide the two clues to Na Wu.
  • Approach Tang Tong and select [Investigate] to obtain the third clue.
  • At the Constable's room door, trigger dialogue. Save the game, talk to the Constable disciple, and select [Force Your Way In]. Defeat or endure 10 rounds against Tong An, gaining favor (+30).
  • After the battle, return to Na Wu for Seven Poison Core. Save, talk to Lian Xin, and choose [Martial Arts Manual] to obtain the Snake Spear Manual, then reload and select [Refuse] to gain +5 Tong An favor.

Next Day Battles:

  1. Battle 1: Rewards: Hui Shuo Heart Technique Manual
  2. Battle 2: Rewards: Three-Turn Washing Marrow Pill, Infinite Pole Manual, Xin Jin Pill
  3. Battle 3: Rewards: Gui Shui Pill

Afterward, gain +25 favor with Gu Si Gui. Duels with him reward Master Annotations x2.

Additional Steps:

  • Visit Bamboo Sea and hand the Human Face Spider to Sister Shang to receive Alchemy Summary, Eight Wind Sword Manual, Hundred Flower Pill, Nine-Refined Bear Snake Pill.

Advancing Main Quest:

  • Proceed to Wanjie Cave for story battles. Return and interact with Zhu Jiujie for further progression.
  • Go to Thunder Gate to push the story towards the [Traitor] mission.

Benefits of Recruiting Na Wu Early:

  1. Additional Scenes during the "Famous Sword Visit."
  2. Unique Endgame Outcomes if trained adequately.
